The Julian Assange case and saga shines a huge spotlight of great paramount importance on the need for Whistleblower Protection Laws. The battle to free Julian Assange for the last decade was filled with grave worry for all of independent journalist and the profession of Journalism. The biggest worry was the government of the United States getting him back and summarily incarcerating him for the remainder of his life or worse, having him killed off as a means to silence him; thus, silence and potential journalist who might expose criminal corruption at the highest levels.
Being an Independent Journalist means more than just sharing some opinion, that’s the least of it all. It is a passionate drive to expose the lies, speak the truth, and record the criminality behind the scenes. Some precious feelings that one might have about certain people, certain groups, certain levels of government are meaningless in rendering a truthful record of account. It’s much like report writing as a prison officer. How would anyone know the truth of anything if it were not written, spoken or recorded by whatever means of medium.
Our constitution says that those who are elected, appointed, and employed work for us We the People. It doesn’t state the opposite. Why do we allow for employees to dictate our God Given Rights as inscribed in the Bill of Rights, namely the First Amendment. Freedom of speech is one thing, not having the freedom to record and publish is the paramount issue we face today. The freedom of the press is essential to a constitutional Republic and to by which means of voting renders a small democratic way of expression under the informed consent clause that’s clearly defined. The voting electorate, us, must have the information that we need to make informed decisions on who we elect because those for whom we elect then decide the appointments to which govern over departments and agencies. Our voice is our loudspeaker, our online means of communications is our individual freedom of the press.
The Press is not just the mainstream media that we all grew up with. Our Right to publish is guaranteed to all of us. There is no mandated law demanding We the People attend a school in order to have press credentials. In recent years since the Obama Administration, we’ve all heard, “hear something, say something”. Our reporting of criminal activities is a type of press. When our own Justice Department decides they want to go after their own fellow Americans for speaking and publishing truth, no one is safe. We’ve all seen how the FBI Federal Bureau of Investigation has been weaponized against us. Having too much authority, power, and control absolutely corrupts anyone’s mind and produces a monstrous ego.
The US government created a legal way to lie to its own citizens. Don’t believe the statistics they tell you. 2012 Modernization of Smith-Mundt Act (H.R.5736 - Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 | 112th Congress (2011-2012) Introduced in House (05/10/2012). This attempt to purposefully lie to We the People was done so that the criminal elements with our government could do as they please and us Americans would be led by the nose to believe whatever we are told. Operation Mockingbird is another element of purposeful deceit devise to dumb as all down and quell descent. George Orwell’s 1984 is one of the most non-biblical prophetic books ever written. He laid it all out how government would deceive us into a slumber of lull. BREAD & CIRCUSES a grand design to keep us all distracted while the real criminals are at work criminally conspiring against us. CoIntel Pro was the most egregious devises of purposeful spying. It still lives on today under Informants and other infestation of rats and snitches.
You do have to ask yourself; How many people have really been killed by our own government for exposing the corruption, lies, and other assorted evils?
The threats to life, Liberty, and pursuits of happiness are in a constant state of danger as long as men of ill will stand in the halls, offices, and dark alleyways of power and control. Do you really trust anyone in government? This is what Independent Journalist and people like Julian Assange is for. This is why the First Amendment must be protected at all cost and that means putting the Second Amendment at its side as a perpetual guardian for all those who speak, write, and publish the truth exposing the lies, criminal activates, and conspiratorial agendas of al in government. We cannot leave out the threats that national and international corporations are. The merger of corporations and government produces Fascism. We even all witnessed how Big Tech surrendered and capitulated to government with the whole Twitter Files. Covid and Big Pharma is another example of how corporations and government work in criminal concert together. How can anyone trust governments and corporations after all of that is beyond me. The level of Stockholm Syndrome that has been implemented is astounding.
June 26, 2024 will go down in history as the day when a Hero was freed and returned home. The world owes a huge debt of gratitude to Julian Assange. FEN thanks him for what he has done.
