VENICE, Fla. - After two months, a jury in Sarasota County began deliberations Tuesday afternoon in a $220 million case against Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital that was at the heart of the Netflix documentary ‘Take Care of Maya’. Lawyers on both sides presented their closing arguments before the judge handed over the case around 2:00 p.m. The Kowalski family sat close together, listening to the emotional closing in a case they’ve waited five years for a resolution.
