NAASCA.ORG: Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) #3280
09/29/2023 Special Guest FEN's Own; Pamela Olson
COURTSEY OF NAASCA
Tonight's special guest is Pamela Olson from Sacramento, California, a Therapist and Activist who is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and trafficking. Pamela was molested and raped from age 3 to 17 by an uncle. She disclosed the abuse to her parents but they told her she was “a whore and more then likely 'made it happen.'” Pamela's parents divorced when she was 12 after which her mother struggled financially and she was then sex-trafficked from age 14-16 by her mother. Pamela's husband was the first person she disclosed to actually helped her, and their relationship has been a huge factor in healing from her traumatic childhood. She recently founded Save Our Children (SOC), an organization aimed at dismantling and overriding the current governmental systems and laws that “interfere with the family unit” (i.e. CPS, public schools, FDA, CDC, medical fields), and supporting parents with legal funds to fight “false claims of abuse” made against them. SOC aims to educate the public about “child trafficking, CPS abuses, family law court abuses, medical kidnapping and pedo-sadism” and to work with legislators to create bills to protect children but also “will uphold our constitutional rights and freedoms.” "I was a victim, turned survivor," she says. "I wanted to go after sex child trafficking first. God had other plans. Through CPS and FCP Group homes I've discovered child trafficking, severe abuses and neglect." Pamela recently said of sharing her story that, since starting SOC, “.. I've not talked about my own experience with sex abuse out loud into the mainstream alt media. Perhaps speaking aloud to it will help many understand why I advocate on the all the topics I do?”
Monday to Friday's "Stop Child Abuse Now" (SCAN) feature trauma informed HOSTs and Co-hosts and respected child abuse prevention, intervention and recovery advocates. They're all volunteers members of the National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse (NAASCA), a 501(c)3. Founded in 2009, NAASCA.org was originally a grassroots effort. It was launched based on our founder Bill Murray's personal life experienced. Bill wrote, "Very few adults escape years of severe childhood sexual abuse, pre-pubescent X-rated photography, sex trafficking, and a two week long kidnapping." He continued. "But I have, and for some 35 years I've been in recovery from its devastating effects." After years of operating as a grassroots effort, NAASCA became a public charity in 2015 .. a 501(c)3 .. but we receive no grants or outside support, and belong to no other organization. There are no dues or fees. Our MISSION is entirely self-sustaining through the volunteer contributions of our members. The single purpose is to address issues related to childhood abuse and trauma including sexual assault, violent or physical abuse, emotional traumas and neglect from two specific perspectives: 1) educating the public, and 2) offering hope for healing and services to adult survivors.
